The screen surface is formed of wedge-sectioned wires with loops through which the reinforcing bars are passed. The bars are either screwed or riveted/welded onto the side rods or supporting frame. The supporting frame can be welded along the whole perimeter of the loop screen and inserted into the sorting machine in this way.
This screening system is mainly designed for dewatering and purging of sand, coal and other moist materials. The structure of the screen is very solid, the screen withstands large loads and can be partially disassembled.
Slot size: from 0.05 to approx. 10 mm.
The section of the wedge wire is chosen according to the type and abrasiveness of the screened material.
